I just got a CD in the mail from Heidi with the photos Sam took at Kent & Becca's wedding. {thanks!} He was the un-official photographer, but got some great shots. Even though the focus was on the bride and groom he got a few shots of our fam which I thought I'd post for fun. Always being the person behind the camera, it's like Christmas to come across photos snapped from other person's point of view. Especially from someone with a smokin' hot camera.
This is Conner's, "how much longer?" face
then check out effects like this:
and colors like this. I just want to eat those flowers.
for more of the wedding photos go here. And really go here for a pic of the SLC Temple steeples that blows my mind. And the temple lights . . . .
One of these days we will be in the same place without weddings and work schedules looming and he will take our family pictures. Got that, Sam? I know he's been toying with the idea of doing this stuff for money. My only question is why he hasn't already! Both he and Heidi have a great eye for photography.
One last pic of the guy I've been bragging about. Doesn't he look so GQ? Sam is and always has been one stylin' guy (well, except for the fanny pack stage). Back in highschool he would frequently wear a shirt & tie to school. I'm sure some of the kids gave him looks -- that form of attire was definitely not the norm in a place where half the student body were FFA members. But he believed in looking his best, doing his own thing, and not worrying too much about what other people thought or said. Way to go, Sam.
Okay, that's all for my photo share. Conner just asked me what's for dinner. Rather than break the news that tonight's meal will be left-overs I said "I don't know." To which he told me (this is lovely): "You better start thinking about dinner!" So I better go take care of that and remind him that I am not his servant!
