*note to self: take more pictures of the kids with their grandparents. I had to dig and dig and found just one decent picture of my Grandma Neva (from 1988). But the saddest of all was finding no pictures of my Grandma Margaret (she passed away 11 years ago). I "stole" the one above from my aunt's blog -- this is my grandma at age 17.
And I'm sure it's not for lack of trying. Both of my grandmothers were known to run away from the camera. So grandma's be forewarned . . . I will be getting pics of my kids with you each and every time we visit! :)
