So even though we are living in this town that is not so Vegas-y, from time to time we are most definitely going to take advantage of the Vegas-y things the area has to offer.
Our kids love fountains. Love love love love love fountains.
We knew that the fountains at the Bellagio were going to blow their minds. So we made that the quest of our first family trip to the strip. (And trust me, we will be sure to stay away from the strip at peak times -- weekends, late evenings.) We parked, made our way to the fountains, watched 2 shows, and headed straight back to the car.
Here are some photos from our little adventure
After the fountains we needed a treat. A treat off the strip. So we plugged DQ in our GPS and drove up to the place, but it was under renovation. So we continued driving and found . . . Mr. D Frozen Custard.
It was an awesome, old-time, order-through-the-window and eat-outside kind of place. Perfect!
And the custard was delicious. I'm sure we will be going back.
