First order of business . . . we made it. We are settling. Expect a week of moving-related blog posts as I catch up on all the good-byes and hello's of the past week.
As for that cactus,
On Sunday afternoon we decided to take a drive up to see the temple. This monster cactus lives nearby and everyone was stoked to see it.
We were also excited to see the temple
We took a short walk around the perimeter of the temple.
And stopped for photos. It reminded me of when I was 9-ish and posed with my brother Sam in front of this sign while the temple was under construction.
You don't see many flowers around here, so the colors in this flower bed were especially striking.
