today is . . . cleaning day. Bathrooms, sheets, floors, dust bunnies, toy bins, . . . nothing is safe.
today is . . . anticipation. My mom is on her way here. Making a pit stop again on her way to visit her dad. We are praying for his comfort and peace. He went off of chemo drugs last month and is just waiting.
today is . . . overcast. 90 for the high with a 50% chance of thunderstorms. We've already had some sprinkles this morning. (Get used to my regular weather updates.)
today is . . . july 13th. Which means we have 6 more weeks of summer vacation. Also, 64 more days to my birthday. (who's counting?) And 76 more days to Anna's birthday. She is counting.
today is . . . treat day. The kids will get paid for their week of chores/jobs at noon and the plan is to get some shaved ice. That is, if it isn't pouring rain or a flash flood comes up.
today is . . . friday. Friday. Gotta get down on Friday. Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend, weekend.
