What? A vacation? But you only moved into your house 2 weeks ago!
Yes we just moved into a house and yes we decided to leave the boxes behind and take the family on vacation. It was a nice break. The timing, in connection with our move, turned out a little weird but this trip has actually been in the planning stages for the last 6 months.
We took the kids to Disneyland last week . . . . it was a celebration!
The last 2 years have been kinda nuts between business school (and Scott in Utah every other weekend), being separated for 6 months while Scott started his job here and commuted back & forth to Oregon on the non-school weekends, and then living in our little apartment for 7 months while we waited for this house.
Now that Scott has graduated from school, we are all together as a family, and we finally moved into a house we decided that it was time to celebrate!! The kids have been incredible sports as well and they deserved this.
We had a great time. The park was all decked out for Halloween, the weather was great, and with the exception of Saturday we didn't have to wait in lines at all. I have lots to share with you later. But I have a halloween costume to finish, laundry to be done, make-up homework to supervise, and boxes to unpack, of course.

This was Anna's first run on Splash Mountain. It ended up being one of her favorites and we rode it 4 times all at her request.
