I finally uploaded all the roadtrip pictures from my big camera to the computer! Yay, me!
As I come across photos and stories I'll be putting them up on the blog. Mostly pictures, with a few words.
So the kids went to Cousin Camp . . .
This picture (above) was taken in haste because mid-"cheese!" we realized they were standing on an ant hill.
When they returned mom held a short awards ceremony
(the next bunch of photos were taken by Heidi)
Notice the crisp white t-shirts. Because they didn't stay that way for long.
We were divided into teams -- boys vs. girls
And pretty soon it looked like this. Color powder mayhem
with mom and dad squirting water on us from the sidelines to brighten the color.
The powder was a mixture of non-toxic dry powdered paint and corn starch. Add some water and let's just say my hair was crunchy!
Anna won an award for the messiest contender
As you can tell by the smile on her face she had a GREAT time! Everyone had a fun time and were good sports about the mess.
I think the only tears came from Payton at the end of the game . . . . all along he thought there would be an award for the "cleanest" player. And so he played hard, or rather, stayed far away from the game to achieve that one.
A far less messy affair was Heidi's 30th birthday party . . . . don't you love the gold-sequined background? I helped!
And my main man, Cole. Yep, those glasses are pretty much the goofiest thing ever. I'm embracing the goofy.
Everyone wanted to hold Cole
And one last random picture of my dad with the boys.
