Recently I had a few women over to my home for a craft night. Very fun. While they were here I took the opportunity to introduce them to Project Life. I love sharing Project Life with other people and showing them what a fun, simple way it is to document your family's story.
In preparation for the night I pulled out 2 of my albums to share with the group. As I flipped through my 2012 album I kept thinking to myself, we have done some FUN stuff! And oh my goodness, Conner has grown into a young man! Jeez!
Even in this short passage of time - 1 1/2 years - I had forgotten about a lot of things we did, and there were so many changes in the kids, and changes in our routine and life circumstance. And it made me grateful that I created this album. And recorded our stories. It reminds me that in every stage life is good and full and beautiful.
So, yay for Project Life!
I wanted to share with you two layouts from February. The first spread features Payton's birthday and some photos of him over the month.
I went back to my 10 Things Right Now post and listed those 10 things on the 4x6 title card.
The right side is all about his birthday . . .
The journaling circles are from Heidi Swapp's line forever ago. Love those. Also love the American Crafts thickers for the number 11.
And here's another layout that ended up being a random gathering of everyday stuff.
Walking to school, temple, eating healthy, religion class, Star Wars t-shirts, date nights, class field trip, homework, haircuts, watching the sunrise, go, go, go.
Every single photo on the right page was taken with the camera on my iPhone. Love how handy that little thing is.

Project Life is a back to basics approach to memory keeping. I've been dabbling in Project Life since Becky Higgins released the first kit in 2009. I love that it is simple, streamlined, and keeps the focus on the photos and the memories. (The extra supplies & design-y stuff is totally optional.) Learn more about it HERE.
