Hello there!
The mission got shuffled up a bit with transfers this week. Nice to be staying in the same area for a change, but sad to let Elder King go. He'll do great things where he's going in Green Tree, though. My new companion is Elder Stubbs! He served in Mansfield as well for a while so we were able to bond over that.
We were able to do some pretty good work in the midst of transfers. For instance, we got in contact with a few less active members we have been working on meeting with for a while. One was an older couple that hadn't been to church in years, but they had us over for dinner and even had a nonmember friend there as well!
The people we are working with currently are progressing well! Our friend Jo. decided to wait a bit longer before being baptized so he has time to absorb all the lessons, but he is still progressing super well and the ward support is fantastic!
We are also working to find some new people to teach as well, lately. We recently visited a lady named Je. who met with missionaries a little while in the past but had to stop due to health complications. She is super interested in the Book of Mormon and the story of Joseph Smith. She almost gave me a heart attack, though, when she said she might Google him. 😂
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
