Spring Break Incoming!
Hello there!
We've been doing pretty good in State College this past week. Mainly stuff in preparation for spring break this week.
So in my area, we focus on the student population and investigators, but most of that population will be gone over the break. So, we'll still be streeting each day per usual, but we'll put a bit more focus on member lessons and social media and so forth. We did meet with C and M last week, committing them to read from the Book of Mormon over the break, so we get to follow up on that.
We also tried another finding approach with the University Sisters last week. We set up a table on campus with a poster, some Book of Mormons, Bibles, pamphlets, etc. Waved down people as they came by and got some good work done, lots of Book of Mormons handed out and numbers received.
Probably the absolute highlight of the week was when I got to join on zoom to watch DJ be baptized! It is so cool to see how far he's come and to know all the blessings that lie ahead of him.
Nothing in particular to share this week in regards to studies, just that if an angel comes and wants to wrestle, even if you know you'll lose, do it!
Hope you all have a fantastic rest of your week!
Sincerely,
Elder Brown the elder

I love the parable comparing a follower of Christ to a wise man building a house.
Luke 6:48 - "He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock."
When building a house, it's so necessary to have a firm foundation so that the house will outlast time and the elements. Isn't it even more important to have a firm foundation to build your life and choices on?
I testify that Christ is that firm foundation. Get in touch with the missionaries to learn how to build on him and his teachings!
