Here it is. The master bedroom before and after.
Ahhh, heavenly. That's the word I use to describe it. I love the airy, fresh, clean, relaxing vibe that it sends out.
What's amazing about this sprucing up project is really, all I did was add paint. The decor is exactly the same. Just a new lamp from Target. I purchased the bedding last summer from Pottery Barn, so it's been around for a while. And moving things out of the room for the paint project gave me an opportunity to edit what came back in, which helped eliminate some clutter.
But the paint color. That's where the transformation lies. It is Polished Limestone by Glidden. I also repainted all the baseboards and window sills which really helps things feel polished.
We both love it.
Now up for debate: Do I hang something on the wall above the bed?
If so, it has to be something simple so as to not interfere with the vibe I've got going so far -- a mirror, large piece of art, photo on canvas, maybe something black and white, etc. . . . .
Or keep it bare.
What do you think?
