Happy New Year!
Like last year, I thought it would be fun to wrap up the year by sharing some of my top posts of 2011. Here we go
1. all "Let's go on a date" posts
It is utterly and totally ridiculous to me how much this simple idea has exploded on the web (all thanks to Pinterest). Like 6,000 visits to my blog in a single day kind of ridiculous. I'm glad that so many people have found these posts useful. It's been fun to hear from women who gave their husbands or significant other a year full of dates this Christmas. The love continues on. :)

2. Sun Stare -- the blog post in which I announce that we are leaving Oregon after almost 12 years to move to sunny Las Vegas. Here we are 4 1/2 months later and we still haven't moved, we're working on it. (The housing market stinks.) I would definitely categorize our life right now as "limbo." There are some things in motion, but very slow motion. I picked my one little word for 2012 to help me cope through the uncertainty and the changes we will surely encounter in the year ahead. I'll share that with you later this week. Or month.

3. Yarn Bowls - a messy craft tutorial

4. from a little spark -- my awesomely crafty & inspirational experience at Spark No. 3

5. weekend in the life // keep portland weird -- We spent a weekend in Portland and acted like tourists. So much fun!

6. 'tis the season to be freezin' -- We love Wipeout. And Payton turned 8 in February. So we had a Winter Wipeout Party complete with themed food, crafts, a custom banner, and of course an episode of Wipeout.

7. my cleaning elves -- I think moms love the topic of cleaning . . . when it involves their kids doing the work.

8. summer fun #5: be in a parade -- Definitely one of the highlights of my summer!

9. a series of misfortunate events -- No photos in this post. A tale that most moms can relate to -- when the germs take over and life gets just plain silly.
10. just add paint -- A long overdue master bedroom re-fresher. And all we did was paint!

11. a room just for me -- A quick tour of my scrapbook room. Which doesn't get as much use as I would like, but I still love it.

Wow, what an amazing, blessed, fun, and beautiful year! So many great memories. Life really is wonderful. Tiring, messy, out-of-my-control, loud, busy . . . but wonderful. Thanks for reading and thank you so much for the comments. I love each and every one.
I hope that 2012 brings abundance, goodness, and happiness for you all. :)
