the drops

a few details up front

. . . . this is an irrigation ditch somewhere off of hwy 93 in southern idaho

. . . . we promptly took showers when we got home

. . . . life jackets were worn by all participants at all times

. . . . this was our first visit to the drops.  Scott's brothers and dad are old pros.

. . . . inspite of the name, there really is only one "drop"

final notes

. . . . between each float there was a 10 minute walk back to the starting point

. . . . float count:  Scott - 6, Shannon - 5, Conner - 6, Payton - 2, Anna, 3

. . . . although Payton freaked out at the beginning, once he got in the water he really enjoyed himself.  Or maybe he was just faking it.

. . . . everyone had a great time.

. . . . on the way home we stopped at the Shoshone Snack Bar for ice cream cones.
