You, now - At my second home enjoying a Tiger's Blood snow cone.
Father - This photo is so my dad. Home from work, in his usual work attire (jeans and a plaid, short-sleeve button up shirt), in a comfortable chair, half of a cantaloupe and spoon in hand. (Circa 1982)
Faraway - We have these strange cell phone towers that they try to disguise as palm trees. It is so bizarre.
In my mailbox - The Lego catalog arrived in the mail - always an exciting event for the boys. But there was homework to be done so I had to hold it hostage. Too much of a distraction.
Bright - My bright little boy prefers to do his homework on the floor. Whatever works!
Everyday - I am the taxi mom. Now that school (and activities) are back in session, I have to fill up my van every single week. My budget doesn't like that so much.
Natural - It had been 9 months since my last color so I was seeing a lot more of my natural color than I'm used to. Thankfully, I don't have to color (no greys) so it's not too big of a deal. But I was very happy when I finally made it into the salon this month.
At night - Driving through town.
Black & White - Thanks to Smith's case lot sale I was able to buy a whole lotta stuff to re-stock our pantry.
Hero - This is our new obsession. We missed Heroes the first time around so Scott and I are having fun catching up on the series. One to two episodes every night.
Together - So fun that Sheila could visit me!
Favorite - First grade journals are my favorite. Blog post here.
In my fridge - The remnants of my birthday white white chocolate birthday cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Absolutely delicious.
Price - The price of braces. This quote was cheaper than the first orthodontist we went to, but this guy was a joke. He didn't even look in Conner's mouth. He looked at the photos his assistant took, spent 2 minutes with us, and said, "Yep, he'll need braces for 24 months. My assistant will write up a quote. Nice to meet you." Then he left. No explanation of the treatment plan . . . nothing! (We're getting a 3rd consultation this week.)
Underneath - Payton thought it would be funny to hide pennies under our pillows.
Sometimes - I can't believe how grown-up this kid looks.
Man-made - My brand new Clarisonic Mia 2! Got this for my birthday from Scott and I'm loving what this baby is doing for my skin. I hear it gets better and better the more you use it.
Up - Looking up at the moon from a park bench on our date.
3 Things - Reading material while we wait for Conner's piano lesson.
Near - The end is near! Arriving at the Title office to sign papers for our house!
Love / Hate - Love owning a home! / Hate signing your name 50 times. But really, in this situation, I'd say that we LOVE the signing part too!
A good thing - Purple pants + girly legos. Celebrating Anna's 7th birthday.
Errand - We just bought a leather sofa/loveseat set for our new home!
You, Then - This was taken in January 2006. Life with babies seems so long ago!
