This month I spent some time sorting through and organizing 4 large plastic tubs chock full of 3 year old drawings, ticket stubs, school work, misc. papers and photos. Lots of memories. I came across many forgotten gems.
Including my favorite . . . first grade journals!
When Conner was in 1st grade he didn't have assigned journal writing time, but the teacher kept a stack of journal pages available for the kids to use when they had finished their classwork. Well, Conner was pretty quick with his classwork so he wrote a lot of journal pages.
And I kept every single one.
Now I can write my name a crazy way. Getting wild and crazy!
7 candles on the birthday cake, Payton & Conner are dressed as ninjas/jedis (or maybe Crakers?), not sure about the random Sponge Bob drawing (despite Conner's desperate pleading we never let him watch Sponge Bob), and Anna is saying "Co, co, co." At age 2, I think that was her way of saying Conner.
I love that the illustration includes Payton and Conner looking under the bed. Way to be thorough, boys.
