Thank you to everyone for your response to my post about welcoming the "new girl" last week. In addition to the comments, I've had phone calls and texts about it. I think it's a topic that strikes accord with everyone.
We all need friends!
I ran into a woman from church at school pick-up today. I don't know how but we started chatting about the whole "it takes a year, year-and-a-half, to really feel at home and comfortable in a new ward." We asked each other, why is that? But yet, it just is.
It takes time.

In other news . . . .
Scott set up the trampoline for the kids. Wa-hoo! In the backyard we now have a pool, a trampoline, tetherball, and a ping-pong table. The kids are not allowed to be bored ever again.
I unpacked my craft room! And I am in love. Can't wait to start creating again.
Josh Groban's new album, All that Echoes, has been on constant re-play in my house. Love it.
We are looking forward to a 4-day weekend! We don't have much planned, but the time off from school is going to be fan-tastic.
