today: I'm painting our hallway. Running errands. Delivering dinner to a new mom (Chicken Chipotle Salad). Listening to Payton play Fur Elise for his piano recital.
yesterday: I primed that hallway and painted the ceilings. Scott took us to Purple Penguin for dinner. It's a known fact . . . when mom spends the day painting, don't expect any dinner.
the day before yesterday: I had a man come over to give us a quote on window films (getting ready for the heat). I attended Anna's Student of the Month Luncheon, an award she has been dying to get all year long. There was a visit to the orthodontist and he was very pleased with the progress Conner's headgear is making. A quick eat-your-burger-as-fast-as-you-can dinner at Wendy's followed by the 6th grade awards ceremony (more on that later). Partway through the awards I stepped out to walk Payton across the street to Cub Scouts. When we all made it home Payton called me up to his room, "Mom! Come quick! I just made the best invention ever!"
For a boy with sweaty feet, this is the best invention ever.

blogging is spotty these days as the end of the school year craziness has enveloped us. I just keep telling myself 4 more school days . . .
