We have this great shopping center called The District. It is so so nice. I love the outdoor cobblestone path, the big (fake) tree they put up at Christmas time, and the shopping selection cannot be beat: Pottery Barn, Williams & Sonoma, West Elm, Anthropologie, LOFT as well as many restaurants.
From July to October they offer a free outdoor movie on friday and saturday nights. We've lived here about a year and a half and I've always wanted to go to check it out. So while the men were gone at Scout Camp we grabbed a blanket and made our way down.
It was a cool little set-up. A big projection screen, twinkle lights on the trees, and free popcorn. The movie for that night was Despicable Me.
This is the back of the movie screen. We had to take a little walk to find a bathroom for Anna.
We had a good time. Fun atmosphere. Fun movie. But boy, I have to say that when the movie ended we were exhausted. 9:30pm doesn't seem that late but we were wiped out!
