Hello!
I love September. It is my birthday month! And it is my blog anniversary month.
34 years and 8 years respectively.
I love finding ways (big and small) to celebrate all month long. September typically means a new haircut, a pedicure, a new pair of jeans, lots of dessert, fun with friends, a date with Scott, and just feeling good about life. I also love that I share my birth date with one of my best friends and my birthday month with several other great people. Including my daughter!

This is me when I started this blog. Pregnant! Now that's a baby belly. Check out my September 2005 archives. The kids were so little!
And here I am today. Not pregnant. ;)
Whether you've been following me on this journey for the past 8 years or you found me just recently, Hello! I'm often surprised by the reach that my blog has had over time -- across the US, into foreign countries, and even right here in my town. I still consider blogging a hobby. But it's also a way to record my story and share my ideas. It thrills me (and humbles me) when I hear that others enjoy my stories and are inspired by my ideas. Thank you. :)

I think that September is a month of new beginnings. Don't you? School is starting and it's a time to make adjustments, set goals, and re-direct your course if need be. I'm all for that. This month I want to say hello to
. . . . entering my mid-30's
. . . . school schedules and routines
. . . . making time for daily exercise
. . . . making time for daily prayer and gospel study (and taking a religion class)
. . . . sewing, and painting, and scrapbooking projects
. . . . thriving
