One of the kids' favorite parts of December is our tradition of reading a Christmas book each night. Before the month begins I gather up all our Christmas books, wrap them, and place them near the tree. Thankfully, we have a pretty big collection of Christmas books. We have received books from grandparents over the years and I also try to buy 1 or 2 new books each year to keep it fresh.
This is the first year that we actually had 25 books of our own! (Before, we would fudge a bit by wrapping up Christmas books from the library, making sure to read them early in the month so we could return them. Hehe.) Now as we collect a new book each year we will phase out some of the toddler board books that we have obviously grown out of. Except for Santa Mouse. That one will stay in the collection.
I thought I would share our list of 25 Christmas books, in case you're looking for something to add to your library.
