Scott was on a donut mission this morning. He and the boys headed out before Anna and I woke up, in search of a real donut shop. And once he found it he couldn't possibly leave with just one puny dozen of donuts. Make it two!

A few links to share with you this weekend:
The Casserole That Changed the Heart of an 11-Year Old Girl : The Power of a Family
I met April, the author of this blog, in April (ha!) at a Power of Moms Retreat (she is the co-founder of Power of Moms). I've been following her blog ever since and I just love partaking of her wisdom and insight and testimony. Currently she writes a lot about her mother who is going through Alzheimer's and the process of saying good-bye. She has such a sweet, enduring love for her mother. And for all mothers and the calling of motherhood. I highly recommend checking out her blog. She always inspires me.
Say Something : A Great Big World
I heard this song on The Voice this week. Love. It has this great Ben Folds vibe which is just so soothing.
Decorative Ampersand : Elise Blaha
I want to make one of these. Or some holiday stars.
I told my kids I ate all their Halloween candy : Jimmy Kimmell
This is kind of mean, but it's also so so funny.
