. . . the Christmas decorations are down and after a trip to Party City the kids and I re-decorated the tree for New Years. I read this blog post and thought we'd give it a go.
. . . Conner is getting braces in just one week. He better hurry up and eat all that Laffy Taffy he got for his birthday!
. . . the weather is pretty incredible right now. I was standing outside for a few minutes this afternoon, in the sun, and I had to take off my cardigan because it was too warm.
. . . the kids have been playing outside everyday, riding bikes back and forth to a friend's house in the neighborhood. It has been so nice to have the time and freedom to just play.
. . . I purchased some Bermuda shorts online today. Scott and I are going to Maui in just a few weeks and I realized that my vacation wardrobe needed 1 or 2 updates. And yes, I know I am totally spoiled to be going to Hawaii again after just 9 months. Hooray for vacation ownership and airline miles! This trip we only have to pay for food and a rental car.
. . . I took the kids to a pet store today where they actually let you hold and play with the puppies that are for sale. We chose a poodle/pomeranian mix to play with. Super cute. But also super-nippy. I kinda want to go back and cuddle the black & white polka dotted cocker spaniel. She looked sweet.
And this is us on Christmas Sunday. Scott is not pictured because he was sick as a dog and actually stayed home from church. We're glad he is all better now.
