We have entered the world of braces.
I was nervous for Conner (and myself) in the days leading up to his appointment because he was not happy about the idea.
He was even grumpier during the process which made me even more nervous.
But as soon as they let him stand up (and get a much needed drink of water - funny story there) he has been all smiles ever since. Even when he was too sore to eat a doughnut, "That's okay, I'll just have my oatmeal!"
Note to my younger brothers with small children and toddlers: Start saving for braces now. Even with "help" from insurance and choosing to go with the cheaper orthodontist (after 3 consults) our out-of-pocket expense for headgear + braces = $4200
Ouch.
