Hello and happy 2014! I hope you had a good New Years.
In the spirit of new beginnings, and resolutions, and sprucing things up I decided that this blog needed a little facelift. If you're reading this in an email or feed be sure to click over and take a look! You may need to refresh your browser. (And if you're not using a blog reader right now, may I suggest Bloglovin'? I use it on my computer, ipad, and iphone.)
A couple new things I want to point out:
- I now have a Facebook page! You can click on that cute little Facebook icon under "Connect" or simply go HERE. This will be a place for blog updates and other fun, favorite, inspirational, and cool things I might want to share. (I promise not to junk up your newsfeed.)
- In the navigation bar I have a link to "Projects". This is where I plan to compile all my decor, crafty, seasonal, and party project links from now on. All in one place! I still have quite a bit of linking/organizing to do, so bear with me, but for now there is a place to start from.
Back to New Years . . . . we had a nice little celebration at home with just the 5 of us. We tried something new -- cheese fondue for dinner! And later we had crepes for dessert. It was the perfect combination!
In between stuffing our bellies we watched a few movies -- Turbo and Man of Steel. We were shocked that Payton made it through both movies and was still awake at midnight! This was a first for him. He is our sleepy boy and most nights he will quietly put himself to bed just because he is tired.
Because we didn't think the kids would make it to midnight we celebrated at 9pm with the East Coast. And then again at midnight. As you can see, it was a party.
Payton is just faking it. He really was awake.
I pretty much love this picture. Even with the attempted photo-bomb. Happy New Year!!!
