Week 2 of project life! This week was a hodge podge of everyday stuff. I didn't take a ton of photos, but enough to pull this together and tell a few stories.
On the left . . . lots of outdoor photos taken during our morning walks to school. The weather has been gorgeous lately. I included a 6x12 insert with photos and journaling straight from this blog post about Anna.
The font used on the date card is called Love Love. That photo with the path and the big sycamore trees was just screaming for an enlargement. So I printed it to 6x8 and trimmed the photo down to fit in the pockets.
Here's a look at the back side of the 6x12 insert. The story of the Christmas orange. Our kids hide their Christmas oranges for me to find -- a tradition passed down by Scott. And lyrics from the Frozen song "In Summer" because there has been a lot of singing & laughter associated with this song in our house lately.
Snippets of our week . . . . Payton's last pinewood derby, new glasses for Conner, and a thank you note from the boys' piano teacher.
I just love the photo of Payton's cute toes! I bought a new pack of Martha Stewart file folder labels at Staples . . . . such handy little stickers. I love wrapping them over the edge of my photos and writing a little note or caption.

Project Life is a back to basics approach to memory keeping. I've been dabbling in Project Life since Becky Higgins released the first kit in 2009. I love that it is simple, streamlined, and keeps the focus on the photos and the memories. (The extra supplies & design-y stuff is totally optional.) Learn more about it HERE.
