1981 - I'm almost 2 and mom is pregnant with Sam
It was mom who taught me to wash the dishes
sing I am a Child of God
tie my shoes
say thank you when someone pays you a compliment
speak up and say hello when I saw classmates in public (I was shy)
do my hair
shave my legs
sweep and clean up the yard until it "looks like Disneyland"
how to throw a party or put on a kids' summer camp on my own (at age 11)
sort & wash my own laundry (with trial and error - there was one pair of pink jeans)
cook a meal
always look nice when going out in public
appreciate a clean home
serve and magnify my callings
try new things
look for examples of successful mothers around me and learn from them
be a light to others
put that last 3% into everything you do
live with faith
and so much more.
