We stayed in a beautiful rental home in the San Marcos Hills, just outside Escondido. The house faced the west and the views were amazing . . . California hills with large homes claiming the tippy-top of each one, glimpses of the ocean on a clear day, and sometimes even hot air balloons.
But the most amazing views came during the golden hour. As the sun made it's descent late in the day the light was nothing short of spectacular.
See what I mean? Yummy golden light. You can almost touch it.
