I'm so excited to share Halloween Memories Album today! This idea has been sitting in my brain for a long time. I was so excited when I was invited to share a project for Eighteen25's Spooktacular September because it gave me just the push I needed to make this happen.
Can I just tell you in advance how much I love this album? I can already see it being enjoyed for many fall seasons in years and years to come.
Alrighty, it is time to gather your supplies. Here is what you will need (supply links can be found at the bottom of this post):
First, download and print the album files onto white card stock. There are 4 pages total and you can grab them here: Halloween Memories Album

Let's get started with the COVER PAGE.
Trim 1/2 inch from all edges of the main cover page so that it is now 7.5 x 10 inches. Choose the title phrase you like best - Halloween Costumes - Costumes on Parade - Halloween Memories - and cut one black border strip. Layer the pieces however you like on the page - top, middle, bottom - the bottom was feeling good to me. And slap it all on a sheet of black card stock.
I just love the crispness of black, white, and orange. Don't you?
Those little title phrases serve double-duty by sliding right into your album spine. Just trim a little extra off each side.
Now onto the interior album pages. Starting with the LEFT PAGE
Can we pause for just a second and give these little baby faces a collective "awww!" Today these faces are 9, 11, and 13. Moving on . . .
I created a 4 photo, 6x6 photo collage in Photoshop and uploaded it to a printing service. If you aren't Photoshop savy you can always print 4 photos, trim each to 3x3, and arrange in a collage.
Adhere the photo collage to a 6.5 x 6.5 square of white card stock with black photo corners. Stick on the lower half of the page.
Next, add a strip of washi tape across the entire width of the page and fold the edges over the back. Add the Halloween year with a stapler or brads.
Easy peasy. I kept it simple and stream-lined so that the focus remains where it should be -- the photos.
On the RIGHT PAGE simply adhere an 8x10 photo with photo corners and step back to admire your work.
My favorite. 2006 goes down as my most epic Halloween costume effort. All three costumes were handmade by me and as a learn-as-I-go seamstress I'm not ashamed to give myself a pat on the back! I 100% believe that we should cheer for ourselves.
And when you complete an album like this you should definitely treat yourself to a pumpkin muffin. I'm just saying, because that's what I would do.
Did you notice that 2014 is all ready to go? There's no reason to you have to wait to make these pages -- complete the foundation and you are set for several years to come. I've got you covered all the way to 2019.
